Welcome to Venice Beach Surf Lessons. Venice Beach Surf Lessons believes in being inclusive, kind and welcoming to all people. We understand that often learning to surf can be a "bucket-list" item or that it may be seen as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we strive to make each lesson as perfect as possible, so that our students come away with positive and lasting memories/skills.
Our instructors are all advanced surfers with substantial ocean knowledge and CPR/First Aid Certifications. Many of our instructors are also teachers, lifeguards, and professional surfers or are coaches to professional surfers. We only hire instructors that share our same values and that are able to complete a rigorous three-month boot camp, comprised of ocean swim tests and extensive beach running.
